Strong Junior Ruby on Rails Developer
The project is a large ecosystem that brings together several of the country’s leading online platforms across different verticals, including general marketplaces, real estate, jobs, and automotive.
Requirements
- 2,5 + years of experience with Rails
- Good knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL or Redis), writing DB queries
- Experience with Version Control System (GIT)
- Experience in writing tests using RSpec and Minitest
- Experience with GraphQL
- Good understanding of REST API standards
- Intermediate English
As a plus
- Knowledge of HTML\CSS, JavaScript
- Experience in working with React or other JS frameworks
- Working experience with Elasticsearch
Responsibilities
- Follow organizational processes and best practices in an Agile team environment
- Develop new functionality and suggest improvements to the codebase and product
- Collaborate with the product owner on the estimate and select tasks for every sprint
- Write detailed technical specifications based on user stories
- Perform code reviews, approve pull requests and improve the quality of the code
- Lead the end-to-end development of features, from requirements and technical design to implementation, testing, and release.
