Middle BackEnd Developer (Ruby on Rails)
If you have 2.5+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails, building and maintaining scalable backend solutions, and feel confident working with databases and APIs, we’d be happy to get to know you better.
Requirements
- 2,5 + years of experience with Rails
- Good knowledge of Databases (PostgreSQL , MongoDB, or Redis), writing DB queries
- Experience with Version Control System (GIT)
- Experience in using the RSpec framework
- Good understanding of REST API standards
As a plus
- Knowledge of HTML\CSS, JavaScript
- Experience in working with React or other JS frameworks
- Experience with GraphQL
- Working experience with Elasticsearch
Responsibilities
- Follow organizational processes and best practices in an Agile team environment
- Develop new functionality, suggest improvements to the codebase and the product
- Collaborate with the product owner on the estimate and select tasks for every sprint
- Write detailed technical specifications based on user stories
- Perform code reviews, approve pull requests and improve the quality of the code
