ShareMed is an app concept designed to help people with chronic conditions improve their quality of life by monitoring their health, understanding long-term patterns, and receiving AI-powered insights based on symptom analytics.

Background

The idea for the app emerged in 2024 in Australia, driven by the need to provide support for people living with chronic conditions. The goal is not just to give users a simple log of their symptoms, but a tool that helps them understand their health through trends, community exchange, and clear AI insights.

We want to build an AI-driven health companion app that helps people monitor their symptoms and key health markers. Right now, we have a general idea of the app, its requirements, and basic flows. So, we need a design team to structure the logic, create app's UI & UX, and deliver a high-level prototype for user testing. Can you help us shape the design system and create the core modules?

Challenges & Solutions

Challenges

Lack of Open-Source Data for Prognosis

Users wanted to see how their condition was changing over time and whether they were improving or getting worse, but they didn’t know how to interpret the data and worried it might be mistaken for medical advice.

Lack of deeper, personalized explanations

People often struggled to understand why certain metrics looked the way they did, how trends were evolving, and how others with similar conditions were experiencing their health journey.

А lot of irrelevant information

There’s a lot of scattered information online about health conditions, but much of it isn't relevant to a person’s specific situation. People with chronic conditions often struggle to sift through many sources to find relevant answers.

Personalized data interpretetion

Thanks to the AI module, people can ask follow-up questions through an interactive chat and, based on their personal data, receive clearer, simpler explanations, like interpretations of test results, symptoms, or treatments.

AI-driven content selection

We created AI-driven functionality to deliver personalized articles, thematic recommendations, and interactive chat responses tailored to each user's data."
